- This started off as a blog tracking our journey to becoming a family of 3. The plan was that I would get pregnant quickly and it would be a blog all about baby things. Instead I didn't have a period for 8 months after coming off the pill and was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and began fertility treatment. Following Clomid & Metformin I conceived, and Clementine arrived, safe and well, on 13th July 2012. This is our story...
101 things in 1001 days
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that it is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of work on our part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Our 1001 days started on 1st January 2010 and will finish on 28th September 2012.
